Happy Birthday, Little Men!

The Saturday before we left Oklahoma, we had a birthday/goodbye party.  Since Brandt is almost a twin it was a double first birthday!

Aunt Di-di and Aunt Clara decorated the amazing cupcakes.

Our house was almost completely empty of furniture, 

our living room was a compilation of folding chairs and love.

The birthday men bask in all their glory awaiting their coming sugar high.

"Happy Birthday...

to yoooouuu!!"

Ohhhh yeahhhh!

Meanwhile, the mass of little girls in our circle of friends 

were out on the porch eating off coolers 

(which would soon to be filled with the contents of our deep freeze).

T. can't contain his birthday bliss.

"Delicious!!"

*Brandt is stunned that Mama gave him sugar*

"That was...amazing!"

The next day would be Easter, so we had an egg hunt!

The boys got to hunt for their eggs first.

While the girls waited for the count to three.
