Miss C is tired.
She helped bake 2 dozen peach muffins, 50 oatmeal cookies & a 9x13 of chocolate peanut buddy bars.
She painted pictures to sell at the bake sale.
She helped hold a car wash sign and waved.
She ate lots of cookies and pizza (note: pizza residue on mouth).
She helped Mama shop for groceries.
She helped Mama decide on baby shower accessories at Hobby Lobby.
She helped Mama drink some Chik-Fil-A lemonade.
She prevented Mama from consuming to many lemonade calories by drinking 3/4ths of the Chik-Fil-A lemonade.
Then she fell asleep before we had driven 10 minutes.
She's tired.
Mr. B is not tired.
He slept with the scent of baking.
He slept driving to the car wash/bake sale.
He woke and stuck his tongue out in a charming manner during the bake sale.
He slept in the grocery store.
He slept in Hobby Lobby only waking at the cash register to stick out his tongue in a charming manner.
He slept on the way home.
Now he is wide awake. And sticking out his tongue in a charming manner.
I'll give you one guess as to who is most tired.
She's holding the camera.
But it's okay, she's used to it :-)
Yesterday, we helped a friend raise money for an orphanage in Liberia. She and her husband are in the process of adopting (I believe?) their 14th & 15th children from this same orphanage. Today, her special needs son, Daniel, was in surgery for a mickey button. And I think I'm tired?? You can follow her blog here: http://www.smithsoup.blogspot.com/. It was a joy to be able to help! Soli Deo Gloria!!

Lovely post Hannah, Thank you! What a worth while fundraiser, so glad you could participate. I hope you got a nap. I'm pretty sure Miss C and Mr. B being there was invaluable, as I recall, cute children + baked goods = profitable bake sale :-)
